As a long established Trade Fair FURNITEX continues to develop and grow in stature from year to year. Held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Southbank where more than 600 key industry manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and suppliers display the latest and best of Australian furniture and furnishings.
The recent 2008 Fair was a key satellite event of the State of Design Festival and attracted over 16,000 trade buyers and again reinforced the importance of these events in the Australian furniture and furnishings buying/sourcing calendar.
Visitors to the Fair came from across Australia and abroad with over 300 International Visitors from Belgium, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, United Kingdom and Vietnam.
