The shaolin photo "Zuwendung" / "care" wins 1. price at anual DGZMK meeting in November 2009 in Munich.

I have just freshed up my daab gallery with a lot of new photographic work and would be deligthed to get some comments from you!

Kommentar der Jury zu der Preisverleihung: Zuwendung hat viel - wie auch das Lehren und Lernen - mit Ausschließkichkeit und Konzentration zu tun. Dies kommt in dem Bild von Oliver Hartmann zum Ausdruck.

Die Aufnahme verbildlicht die Tradition der Shaolin Mönche durch Achtung, Respekt, Zuwendung und beständiges, hartes Training, besondere Techniken zu erlernen, zu beherrschen und über Generationen weiter zu geben. Beide sind hochkonzentriert in aufrechter Haltung einander zugewandt.

Reduktion des Schärfebereiches und die fast punktförmige Beleuchtung verstärken die zum Ausdruck gebrachte Konzentration der beiden Agierenden. Betont wird dies zudem noch durch die Reduktion des Bildes auf eine schwarzweiße Wiedergabe.

Ein tolles Bild, wie die Jury findet und ein verdienter 1. Platz.
