For the first time jp designs exhibit at the imm cologne 2011: After beeing awarded the Focus in Silver 2010, the next highlight for the 35-years-old follows in January. Presented will be three latest „problem solver“: The award-winning media furniture jp003, the mobile sidetable jp005 and the flexible storage furniture jp002. Each piece of furniture illustrates the principle of Julia Pfizenmayer: intelligent design solutions.

„For me, good design in furniture means products that are functional. An attractive look alone is not sufficient for me. My aim is to fulfill recent demands of living with intelligent designed problem-solvers. ,D3 Design Talents - Professionals‘ is the ideal platform to present this approach to a broad public for the first time.“, says Julia Pfizenmayer.

jp005 – mobile sidetableThe mobile sidetable reminds, with its tabletop, of a tray. And that is exactly how it is meant to be used. Through its low weight it can be easily carried wherever it is needed.

jp002 – maximum flexibility for more storage space jp002 combines flexibility with airy storage space: Any desired numbers of carcases can be stacked one upon the other, without being fixed to one another. By two axes, the carcases can be twisted and moved in varied manners against one another. Flush-mounted bright grooves imply the range of an outsider graphically. According to the arrangement, the outsider can serve as a room divider and can then be used from both sides.

jp003 – awarded the „Focus in Silver 2010“„A new archetype of a media furniture element, with many clever details.“ stated the jury of the International Design Award Baden-Württemberg. And that´s how the media furniture for modern living demands works:
The backbone serves as a wireway and is installed near a socket. The carcases, available in three different sizes are slid-in in the required height in the grooves of the backbone. The backbone can be equiped with as many desired elements and functions as a door: as the carcases are lined up right-adjusted, it can be easily opened anytime, to change the cable layout or to change devices. The devices, placed in the rack can be connected conveniently with one another and with the power supply through the lateral cabel outlets. Especially for multimedia devices this problem solver offers sufficient space. In one of the drawers a multiple socket serves as a charging station for mobile phones, digicams or mp3-player. No more cable tangle in the living room. All cables are hidden in the backbone.
jp003 is the flexible problem solver. Also as storage space for books, magazines and other components. Through the variable positioning of the carcases, arise open and varied perspectives for sensible storage.
