From September 4th–7th, 2008, abc art berlin contemporary presents a unique survey show for contemporary art in Berlin. This weekend 41 Berlin galleries will be celebrating the opening of an large-scale exhibition in the halls of the former Postbahnhof at Gleisdreieck in Kreuzberg as well as an exhibition at their gallery space.
In a one-of-a-kind group exhibition, galleries will exhibit on 9,000 square meters approximately 70 unique positions on mostly young contemporary art. Many artists are showing new works produced especially for this exhibition. This year’s focus is on the artistic mediums of sculpture, installation and projected images. abc is an initiative of Berlin galleries seeking with the exhibition to open up new perspectives on Berlin and its exciting art scene.
