Andreas A. Koch moves with his photographical works in a conceptual play
with the perception. He documents destruction, injury and temporary absurd
conditions in the public space and he exempts (displaces) them from their
original function.
Thus, he puts them into context with a seemingly temporary tentative
exhibition in the public space without communicating this further. The
boundaries between coincident and intention of transformation are not
revisable anymore. The objects receive an emotional touch (variant) in their
intuitive (direct) ambience (environment), which at the same time allows
drawing conclusions from the manipulation (association, interaction) with
the environment and responsibility.
Humour and sadness meet each other, expand the works and come along with
narrative elements. This vision affords to refer ironically to the deficits
of a society, which is last but not least linked with an increase in the
meaninglessness of steadiness (stability).
Consistency is questioned and exposed as a transitional state.

Er dokumentiert Zerstörungen, Verwundungen und temporär absurde Zustände im öffentlichen Raum und stellt Sie durch die Wahl in den Kontext einer scheinbar vorübergehenden provisorischen Ausstellung im öffentlichen Raum ohne dies jedoch weiter zu kommunizieren.
Die Grenzen zwischen Eigen- und Fremdeinwirkung sind nicht überprüfbar.
In ihrer unmittelbaren Umgebung erhalten die Objekte eine emotionale Variante -Humor und Tristesse begegnen sich, erweitern die Arbeiten und werden von narrativen Elementen begleitet.
Die ironische Sicht ermöglicht es, Kontinuität in Frage zu stellen und als vorübergehenden Zustand zu entlarven.
